New project completed with Danfoss

The excellent cooperation between RMC and Danfoss 🤝 has resulted in an energy-efficient heating system that provides comfort and saves resources for the Danfoss office building in Kyiv.
This is a great example of how innovative technologies can improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

The RMC-HP VSH170AGANA-MCG1W heat pump is an integral part of the Danfoss office building’s heating system and is used in a cascade scheme.
This heat supply system consists of two stages:
a group of air-to-water heat pumps manufactured by Mitsubishi Heavy Industry (MHI), and a water-to-water heat pump manufactured by RMC.

MHI heat pumps heat water at an outside temperature of +16 °C to 0 °C.
At air temperatures from 0 °C to minus 20 °C, the RMC heat pump uses the water heated by the MHI heat pumps as a low-temperature energy source (it is cooled in the evaporator).
At the same time, the water from the office heating circuit is fed into the heat pump condenser, where it is heated.
The RMC-HP VSH170AGANA-MCG1W heat pump is based on the Danfoss VSH170AGANA scroll compressor and is designed to operate with R410A refrigerant.
The main components of the refrigerant circuit are manufactured by Danfoss, and the pumps are manufactured by Wilo. The condenser and evaporator are brazed plate heat exchangers. The heat pump control cabinet is based on the Danfoss MCX controller. Danfoss frequency converters control the operation of the compressor and water pump and allow for a smooth start-up of the equipment if it is necessary to operate from a generator.

The heat pump has a power output of 56 kW and a water outlet temperature of up to 60 °C.

Working with Danfoss is a source of inexhaustible inspiration for us as a manufacturer.
It motivates us to create innovative engineering solutions that respond to the challenges of our time and are adapted to its dynamic realities.
